Pivot Point Beauty School, Bloomingdale

In 1962, Pivot Point Founder, Leo Passage, opened Pivot Point Beauty School at the corner of Howard and Clark Streets on the north side of Chicago. His first class was made of five students in one classroom. Today, Pivot Point International is a global company creating high-quality cosmetology and esthetics education used in schools around the world. Pivot Point operates three corporate beauty Academies in the Chicago area—Evanston Academy which serves Chicago and the Chicago suburbs; Chicago Academy on Irving Park Road which serves Chicago; and Bloomingdale Academy which is in the western Chicago suburbs.
