PTAM is a Chicago-based alternative investment firm specializing in the credit and fixed-income markets. PTAM seeks attractive investment opportunities in complex markets where structural and pricing inefficiencies can create unique drivers of return. PTAM manages approximately $950M in net assets (as of November 30, 2013) of institutional and individual assets across multiple pooled investment vehicles, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts. We believe market inefficiencies exist in all market environments. However, the tactics required to generate returns are vastly different in calm markets than in periods of dislocation. Our seasoned team consists of twenty-five full-time professionals with specialized backgrounds from across the asset management industry. Our investment team is led by Ethan Youderian (CIO), former Citadel Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director.
